Books!!!

hi readers! happy Sunday. let's do some Sunday Stealing and talk about books :)

1. Favorite childhood book?--Goosebumps and Fear Street books by RL Stine
2. What are you reading right now?--50 shades of Gray and some healthy eating and stress management books
3. What books do you have on request at the library?--none at the moment. the only thing i use the library for now is to borrow dvd's...sorry :(
4. Bad book habit?--well, i hunt for FREE kindle books for my e-reader and get at least 5 per day.
5. What do you currently have checked out at the library?--nothing again, just dvd's there. they are fairly current with their selection too!
6. Do you have an e-reader?--yes and i love it!
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?--one at a time.
8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?--yes. they have just changed in general because of life. i really do not read as often as i should.
9. Least favourite book you read this year (so far)?--my textbooks. i really do not get them sometimes
10. Favorite book you’ve read this year?--50 Shades of Gray
11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?--it depends. if it is a good book i will read it
12. What is your reading comfort zone?--mystery and self-help books (diet, health, how to)
13. Can you read on the bus?--not really. i can do a magazine on the bus. at times if i have to take the bus, i will pretend i am reading to be left alone :)
14. Favorite place to read?--in my bed or...in the bathroom
15. What is your policy on book lending?--i do not. since most of my books are e-books, i just pass the link on to them to get it or shoot them a message when it is FREE.
16. Do you ever dog-ear books?--yes! but now i just use a pretty ribbon
17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?--yes...it needed. my Bible has lots of margin notes.
18. Not even with text books?--all the time with textbooks. easier than taking notes
19. A book you didn’t expect to like but did?--biography books. too me at first, they were just too boring. depends who the biography is on i guess.
20. What makes you love a book?--usually the title now and the brief description of the book. yes, i judge a book by its title. if it is a catchy one, it will peak my interest.

  4. I think some people are terrified of reading 50 Shades...or afraid they will get caught reading it! It's a bit over the top, but let's hand it to the author - she certainly found a spot for her writing.

  5. I need to adopt your e-reader habits for the free deals. My two DDs, who were given old kindles when some friends upgraded, tell me that there are some fabulous free or nearly so, ones out there. I've come to realize over the last week that I'm not reading as much as before, unless it's blogs. Love blogs!
