Keeping it Patriotic Meme

happy Saturday! hope everyone's 4th was a good one! hope you ate lots and took a moment to remember and appreciate your freedoms! thank you to all who have served and still serve. keeping with the patriotic theme here is a fun little meme with Sunday Stealing :)

1. Are you "proud to be an American"?---of course! Go USA!!!

2. Favorite Founding Father?---Thomas Jefferson

3. Favorite president?---I like our current president and Bill Clinton. i have been gainfully employed under both of these presidents :) i also like and very appreciative of President Abraham Lincoln as he was the driving force towards the end of slavery.

4. Biggest "Patriotic Moment"?---seeing the troops come home/off the ship

5. Favorite patriotic song?---America the Beautiful

6. Favorite American cuisine?---good ole classic hamburger

7. Happiest political moment of your life?---being able to vote and seeing America change so much in their thought process that they elected the FIRST African-American president. a woman being president should be coming soon!

8. Best fireworks display you've ever seen?---my neighbors do a good job, but the ones they have on TV in New York via the Macy's day shows are pretty spectacular. oh to be there in real time/life

9. America's gift to the world?---being the land of opportunity. America is the only place where you can stumble and fall and get back up and possibly be even better than you were before.

10. Favorite Bill of Rights right?---the 10th Amendment the Power of the States and People. people (you) can and do make the difference.

11. Favorite American Holiday?--July 4th...Independence Day.

12. Favorite D.C. monument?---The Lincoln Memorial, but also love the Smithsonian...all of them

13. Your dream for America's future?---to have tolerance for all races, genders, and religions. you do not have to accept them for yourself, but you should be tolerant of them and if it is something you do not agree with, leave them alone. they should do the same for you and your beliefs too. it works both ways.

    1. Zippi...yep he is! He claims it too, but also remembers his other part of him too. That would be something for America and will make a BIG change in the gender divide too!
