Challenge Break and some News!

oh look here...a little blog challenge break! well, here is what has been going on since i have no question to answer today really. i am getting ready for my aunt to come in. she is coming in all the way from Nigeria. she is in flight as i type. she will be here for 6 weeks! i have lots planned. she is staying in my room so, i am now in rush mode to clean it and i hate it! ugh, so much stuff and i am tired just looking at it all. but she will be here tomorrow, so...back to work!

in other news, my love and i are fine. we got over our fight. it was a really big one and it almost was the end of us, but glad we are taking it one day at a time and working it out. work is going well and i am getting better at joining blog hops and going to other blogs and leaving a comment. you all do write so well. i need to go catch up on that too! to all that stop by, thank you! that is it in a nutshell. how is your weekend coming along?

my first time doing this link-up. here are my 6 words for this Saturday...

"my aunt is coming to America!"

  1. Hi hun, One of my friends is from Nigeria and she is always making me watch portions of these African movies (comedies), they are soooo funny! I grew up watching a lot of Indian (hindi) movies and sometimes they remind me of those. Speaking of Africa have you ever tried Ghana bread? one of my hubby's friends is from there and OMG the bread is so sweet and soft and delicious, (I had some this weekend) I wish I never tried it now I'm hooked.

Glad to hear your relationship is back on track. Relationships are hard work! Sometimes I think men and women are just so different in terms of our needs and wants but in the end I guess if it it worth it you will make it work.

    1. Erica, I think I have tried that bread before. Ghana and Nigeria are neighbor countries, so i can see how the breads could probably get to each other. the movies are indeed SOOO funny! the last one i watched was on "Brazillian Hair" it was all about the hunt for good weave like from the USA and UK and France. it was funny. i am glad we are back on track too, i was scared and this was the worst fight we had...oh those ex's i tell you! getting better with it one day at a time.

  3. Glad to see that your aunt has arrived safely in a more recent post (and thanks for the personality test link - been awhile since I've done that and it always changes because I'm right on the edge of a couple).

Fights are tough but I think in the long run they make a relationship stronger if you can overcome them. I'm glad things are OK now.

    Thanks for playing 6WS!
