ok, let's do some Sunday Stealing...random style!

Random XV
1. How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?--i have my first set of shoes of when i was a baby. my mother gave it to me, so that would be a 29 year old pair of shoes (almost 30 in July!)

2. Did you buy Girl Scout cookies this year? If so, what variety?--none this year. really i did not see the Girl Scouts out this year :( i hear Dollar General has the generic brand Girl Scout cookies (thin mints and coconut-caramel kind for under $2 a box) taste like the real thing to me :)

3. Do you know how to ballroom dance?--no, but i would like to and i think i could pick it up quickly as long as "he" is leading right.

4. Were you a responsible child/teenager?--i would say so. i never gave my parents any trouble...still do not :)

5. How many of this year's Oscar-nominated movies did you see?--two (if that)

6. If you're going to have a medical procedure done, such as having blood drawn, is it easier for you to watch someone else having the procedure done or have it done yourself?--does not matter to me. i have had 3 eye surgeries to repair structural damage, so i am ok with medical procedures. i did watch it on YouTube so at least i would have an idea of what was going on. i was awake/twilight sleep during it all.

7. What is your favorite day of the week and why?--Friday! end of the week and i get to sleep in a bit on Saturday.

8. What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received??--good evaluations at work and someone saying "I Love You". that is always nice.

9. Do hospitals make you queasy?--not at all!! see question #6 for more reasons why.

10. At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?--hmmm, Super Target. one stop shop. the other place would maybe be a thrift store where my money would go a LOOOONNNNGGGG way and a good bit of the money spent at most of them go to a good cause (church, homeless, kids, etc.)

11. Are you true to the brand names of products/items?--no

12. Which is more difficult: looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when he/she is telling you how he/she feels?--the first one. looking into someone's eyes when you are telling them how you feel.

13. What’s one thing you’re deeply proud of — but would never put on your résumé?--how i have overcome quite a few set-backs, and still able to achieve a goal (such as, some classes i did not do so well in, but i did them again, did better, and achieved my Master's Degree!)

14. What’s the most out-of-character choice you’ve ever made?--hmmm, perhaps some of the boys/men i have dated in the past??

15. What’s your personal anthem or theme song?--the song "Just Stand" by Donnie McClurkin. love the part that says "After you've done all you can...You Just Stand".

  2. I love your description of yourself up top! And your shoes made me realize, I have a pair of my son's baby shoes! Darn it! I forgot about those :) Happy Sunday!

  3. I love your positive comments :-) Also, you reminded me that my in-laws bronzed my husband's first pair of baby shoes, which I thought was kind of creepy until I read your post. Now I think it's kind of sweet!
