Chatting away!

happy Wednesday! almost the weekend :) you all still up for chatting in the middle of the week? i sure am, so here we go with Everyday Ruralty on the front porch. thank you and welcome to all my new followers and commenters :) you all rock and i am replying back to you all via the blog so i hope you are seeing them.

What are you most looking forward in the remaining months of 2014?---all the holidays coming up and my brother graduating from college in December.

Tell us about the last movie you saw, or book you read--i have been reading a lot of books lately because i have recently become a book reviewer :) most of the books are about diet and weight loss and self help books like boosting self-esteem and thriving in your business. hey, i read what they give me. the last recent movie i saw was 12 years a Slave with my look-alike (as some have said) Lupita Nyong'o

Do you ever make smoothies or juice?--yes, both and all the time. i have a vitamix and a juicer. i have seen the health benefits from doing so.

Who do you wish you could talk to right now?---someone who will truly listen...hahah. i am open to talking with anyone who wants to talk really.

Please finish this sentence. "If I could spend a week in a lovely cabin in the mountains I would like to_______________________." spend that time during the winter months where it is snowing and i can be near the fire with some hot chocolate and then on the slopes doing the beginners course of course.

  1. I love hearing how everyone loves smoothies. I never have time to make them, so I live vicariously through others!

    1. Jennifer, smoothies are great and so easy to make and you do not taste the veggies, or you can make them all fruit if you like. you also do not really need a fancy blender, a regular one will do. hope you try some soon!

  2. I know this is non-sequitur but I LOVE the sun hat in your photo. Where did you find it?

    1. Jill, thank you! i got it on a cruise in their little $10 shop. But i think during the summer, you can find them at a local beach store or even Wal-Mart.
