first off...happy father's day to my dad and all the father's and father figures out there. thank you for your love, support, care, kindness to mom, and mentoring. i love you daddio!
it is Sunday so it is: Sunday Social
1. biggest driving pet peeve: people who do not use their turn signals.
2.biggest blogging pet peeve: when you stop by my blog but do not comment/. i guess it is b/c i make it a point to comment on each blog i read for that day. even if it is just a hello :) i do not mind you asking me to follow you back. if your blog is good and you have followed me, i will return the favor.
3. biggest general pet peeve: lazy people. some things really are not that hard to do. i look at it this way, if you are lazy, you generally have other bad traits too that i just do not want to be around.
4.you most irrational fear: i do not like swimming in fresh water...ie lakes etc. b/c i read somewhere that you can get this little microscopic bug from fresh water that can go up your nose or through a cut and eventually make it to your brain and eat away at your brain and you die. this is what too much organic and science classes will do to you. so i stick with ocean/salt water or the pool with chlorine.
5. three celebs to have dinner with: President Obama, Tyler Perry, and Maxine waters
day 16 of the june blog challenge is about your views on mainstream music:
music! basically now it is what the pic says above :) i do like it. i cannot listen to it for hours on end, but i do like it when i am working out. i like it in the car. i like watching the music awards, all genres. i do like jazz . i think i appreciate music in general when say, i am at an outdoor concert listening to it. i think it has to do with the environment and all. mainstream music is ok. i can relate to it b/c of my age, but some of it is flat out silly. some have no meaning anymore and it is just 5-7 words repeated over and over again...example....bieber's baby, baby, baby o song. they have made the beats more dance-able and more workout ready so that is nice. it is here to stay so unless you decided to venture over to classical music...you are stuck with it. does anyone even listen to classical music anymore?
~eloquently rambling...
