day 22of the July blog challenge is all about pet peeves!-list 5 :) ha! so glad they gave me a number to stop at!!

ha! these are not my 5, but they are pretty close!
here they are:

1. drivers who do not use their turn signals--they just turn. oh, yea, i am going to turn now in front of you and make you slam on your breaks! -ugh!

2. people who post on Facebook or other social media site or call you and say, oh, yea, i am not doing to tell, or something is wrong, but then do not tell you what is wrong? ok...why the heck are you posting and complaining about it when you do not want to talk about it to anyone??? if i post something like that, i am willing to tell all that are nice enough to respond and ask what is wrong-ugh!

3. when someone calls you and you just missed the call b/c you could not get to the answer key fast enough and then you call them right back (as in within 30 seconds) and they cannot pick up. umm, you JUST literally called me did you phone fall in the toilet?-ugh!

4. Teenagers today that are SOOO rude to their parents! OMG! i could never say "shut-up" to mom or even attempt to curse at her (maybe in my head i do, but never from my head to my lips). i would have a black eye or be in a coma at the nearest hospital if i did. what happened to respect??-ugh

5. Smokers and their breaks! i guess i am just mad at what seems like all the breaks they take. i work with smokers, i do not smoke. in less than 3 hours of work so far this morning there has been 5 smoke breaks and it is not even noon yet! wow!! i wish i could take that many bathroom breaks, but if i did, someone would say i am sick, or pregnant for sure...and i am neither.
**what are your pet peeves?**

  2. OMG this weekend I heard this teenage boy in the mall tell his mother that he didn't give a F*ck what she said! I was so shocked my mom and I just looked at each other and my mom said "if that was my son I'd send him flying off this escalator" lol

  3. Rude kids are the result of poor parenting. A kid who would tell his mom to shut the f**k up at the mall has NOT been parented properly. As for smoke breaks, when I was a smoker, I did not abuse my breaks. I took only what the company allowed and those who did not smoke still complained about smokers taking a break when they didn't get one...I just always said 'its because us smokers are more organized because we NEED our breaks" Lol I quit smoking in 1999.

  5. Smoke breaks! Thats a good peeve. I no longer work with any smokers; but way back in offices times when I did....I started taking my smoking breaks. Not with the smokers, as I can't stand smoke, allergic to it and gives me a sore throat; but I started saying allow...when you come back from your break...I'll take mine....pretty soon things changed. They started asking me why I was taking a break...you don't smoke why are you taking a smoking break...my answer to even out the work load! The manager then started realizing how many were away from work and for how long and put a stop to it! Told them they could smoke at lunch and during their 1 15 minute break allowed by law period. Now frankly, why she hadn't paid attention before then is beyond me...but I had had enough...I answered their phones, and did their work and mine while they were all being paid to smoke...Enough!

    1. Ha! Sandy, that is good for you! For about 2 days I would answer the phones and such and start to do copies for my clients when my assistant was out smoking. that quickly stopped. if my client showed up and she was out i would have them wait for her to return before copies were made and they were seen. i did not answer phones either, just let it go to voice mail especially if i was with someone or it was her family calling. now she waits at least 20 min to see if the client shows up before she takes her break. they still take 6 or so in a 6 hour period...still more than the law allows! ugh!
