hello day 6 of blogging everyday in May. i like that i have topics picked for me to write. it is so nice. so, you ask what it is i do. well, i work for a federally funded grant program that helps students with financial aid, admissions, and career search. i help students who are wanting to return to college, are new to college, the first one in their family to go to college and/or are of modest (low) income. they can be either of the previously mentioned or ALL of them. i also do files and in the mist of all of that i sort of counsel in a way. wow, the situations some of these students get into...i cannot imagine, but they do it and come out stronger. i enjoy it. it can be stressful, but i work hard to help them go to college. it is almost time for registration soon, so...i will be busy and probably stressed, but you know what, i will keep a smile on my face.
now, if i did not have a job to fall back on, as i do, i would say that i am a "stay at home daughter :)" i cook, clean, do laundry, shuttle mom to work and brother to class, keep dad organized, grocery shopper, coupon clipper and deal finder, travel planner etc. etc. etc. on top of searching for a new job that will allow me to use my masters in public health, and/or searching for a school to work on my PhD or medical school...phew. either way as you can see...i am quite busy. i actually do everything above while currently working except shuttle my brother to school...daddio takes care of that! :)
~eloquently rambling...
Full plate I must say, and that you manage to keep a smile on... bravo!
