hmmm, so, this year i plan to trust more. that is really it. trust goes a long way. it can help solve and put many things into place. learning to let go of the past and keep it there will aid in gaining and keeping trust. i see myself as a forgiving person, not to be confused with forgetting, but i do forgive. i give chances...many sometimes to a fault. i want to and will trust in people and believe that everyone has some good in them. i have decided to look at it this way...what is done in the dark/not with good intentions will always come to the light at some point. it may not be now, or it may be now, or it may be 10-20 years later, but all in all, it will come out. be kind to others, appreciate them, and give the virtue of TRUST again!

My grandmother once said that acid can do as much damage to the container it is stored in; as it can to that upon which it is poured.
ReplyDeleteI always thought that so wise. Storing up hate and unforgiveness in our hearts can do damage to our spirits. Far better to let it go, although, not as easy as it sounds for sure.
and you are so wise too: all things done in darkness, eventually do come to light. that's the first thing we have to trust in I think. Let that take care of itself, and us take care of US.
